Tides 16's win Warwick Summer Slugfest
Submitted by Anonymous on Mon, 07/12/2010 - 12:00amEntering as the #4 seed, the CT Tides 16U team took over the playoff brackets rolling all the way to the Championship. The Tides defeated the #1 seeded New England Knights 3-2 in the semi-final game. Jack Voigt picked up the win in dominating fashion. He went 6 2/3 innings allowing no earned runs and only two hits. In the championship game, the Tides domination continued.
