Former Tides standouts JC Porter and Shane Ogren have officially made their baseball teams at college.

Porter, a hard throwing right handed pitcher, has secured his spot as a Ram at Division I Fordham University. The Westhill High School graduate saw more innings in the Fall season than any other Freshman and will join the staff permanently this spring.
Porter completed a five year career with the Tides last Summer and is seeing his dream of playing college baseball come to fruition along with a great college education.

Shane Ogren will join the Dartmouth Big Green this spring where he will use his smooth infield talents at the Division I level. A sure handed and strong throwing shortstop for the Tides, Ogren will likely see innings at third base, short stop and second base as a freshman at Dartmouth.

Congratulations to both players for an outstanding Tides career and a bright future playing Division I baseball.
